Presenting at Stanford University: Arduino microcontrollers and Aquaponic systems in an awesome Middle-School classroom
Early in the year, Mr. Scott and Mr. Tarrey from www.theprojectschool.org/reached out asking if our Creativity Lab could help their class integrating Arduino microcontrollers into their Aquaponics system. I agreed to help them since the previous Fall semester I had been studying and "playing" with an Arduino micro-controller, the UNO and the LillyPad. My adventure with them started that day...
The 7th and 8th graders had been building an Aquaponics system (figure 1), where one raises fish and grows plants without soil (i.e. hydroponics).
All this fantastic project became a paper that we presented in Stanford University's conference FabLearn 2016. Take a look at our paper (posted below)
